Are there any New Zealand based members of this forum?

I am told that you wear the poppy on Anzac Day, rather than around November 11th.

I have a small collection of poppies worn by the other Commonwealth countries, plus the USA. I am now just short of New Zealand and South African examples.

I am looking for up to six New Zealand poppies, and will provide English etc poppies in exchange. I believe that "Kiwis" also wear/wore "Rosemary" for rememberance and am interested in obtaining examples of that.

    Hi Beppo

The Kiwis, like us Aussies, wear Rosemary on ANZAC Day and we wear Poppy's on Rememberance Day. For us, ANZAC Day has really become our National Day and is the when most people think of ex servicemen. Rememberance Day is unfortunately, not taken seriously here with very few people pausing for the minutes silence. My RSL have a small ceremony at 11am, however we would be lucky to have 20 people there where as ANZAC Day we have up to 500 at Dawn Service and up to 5000 at our local marches
