If anyone else saw the programme on the SOE agent Noor Inayat Khan- what was the pistol apparently used by her in training? I'd never seen one like that before, calibre? Perhaps 22 and number of rounds in the magazine?
If anyone else saw the programme on the SOE agent Noor Inayat Khan- what was the pistol apparently used by her in training? I'd never seen one like that before, calibre? Perhaps 22 and number of rounds in the magazine? On show at the Imperial War Museum Webley pistol used by Noor Inayat Khan, who was the first female SOE wireless operator to be sent to France. She was betrayed and captured in 1943 and was executed at Dachau concentration camp in September 1944. She was posthumously awarded the George Cross.

I heard with great interest htat her SOE file has been declassified....does anyone know if this was part of a large batch of files from SOE or was it a selective release? Also anyone know the series reference......????
