I was returning home from Shopping this morning and saw two Norwegen Tour Bus's and several cars parked outside the entrance to the Falkensee Memorial Park and site of the Sachsenhausen Sattelite Concentration Camp.

I wondered if this was a Special day of remembrance as it is usual for organised visits in April to commemorate the Internation KZ Liberation Day.

I returned home with the Shopping and then took a walk up to the camp and found that it was a School visit to Berlin and the trip included a visit to the Falkensee camp and also a visit tomorrow (Friday) to Sachsenhausen camp in Oranienburg.

There was also a camp survivor on the trip who is the man with the stick shown in the photographs.

It is refreshing to know that such visits are being organised from distant places and the true history of These places being passed on to future Generations.

    Hi

As a Norwegian, I can tell you that many school classes in Norway every year go and visit some of the camps. They normally work and save money themselves to finance the trip, and then the school arrange for it.
