Original Photos of London hit with V1 & V2 taken by a US service man in 1945. Can anyone ID the area hit. Last photo taken in 1944. Photos from my collection. Thanks for your help. Keith I added some colour to his photos.
The last image is of the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace. As for the others, probably the City of London area [which is a bit vague].
I agree that photo one at least looks like City of London. You may find an expert here to ID it. The Friends of the City Churches
