"Tobruk - Sandy Steel Hell" is now the working title of my forthcoming bestseller, which will clean up the US market.

    All the best

I think published authors are being given some more leeway than others on WW2TV (which is fair enough when it comes to some aspects of the participation), and maybe that gets to them?

Just need to add “The Secret Untold Story” and you are sure of a publisher and a best-seller!

"Hitler" is the top sales bait, shurely? Followed by "Tiger" and "Patton".

    Mustn't forget "Fist", either!

Are you implying that the States are the only place where tripe war books sell? I ran across more than a few Sven Hassels in London bookshops. And then there was something called Tank Girls at Motorbooks in London, which consisted of full color snaps of attractive young female tankies displaying themselves on the hard steel chassis of a T62.

Not at all. But I want to be rich, so the US market it has to be!

Tell me more about 'Tank Girls' though. Was it in the tractor section?

Ouch. That hurt as the sub-title to my book contains the ‘f’ word. I successfully kept it out of the title but had to give in on the sub-title. At least I avoided ‘Hitler’ being anywhere near the title, as demanded by another potential publisher.

Area around Nienburg is quite sandy, so you missed a trick there.

Good point. Perhaps something along the lines of ‘Hitler’s Final Fist - Forgotten Battles of Sand and Steel’ might have done the trick.
