As if made for Siberian "country roads", especially where China or Alaska are closer than Moscow
And in that corner of the world the difference between army and civilian was also rather blurred
The Soviets then consistently put their own vehicles on full tracks:

I think this is a Beech AT-11 but I'm not sure

Certainly looks like one of the Beech Expeditor models to me.

A fellow CPO I met in California had a certified WW2 jeep, produced in 1944. I helped him work on restoring it until I upped anchor and returned to CivLant. He reported when it hit the road legal in 1994.

I think someone converted a WC Command Car to a pickup truck. I know Dodge made some WCs with pickup bodies but this one looks do-it-yourself. There wasn't anyone around to ask. The WCs were relegated to a far corner of the field at the 2023 Antique Truck Club of America show this weekend

No photo, but I liked this mention of a carrier recently posted on Twitter. Robert is apparently on the Métis Nation of Ontario Veterans' Council, so I am guessing his great-uncle was also Métis. Using a carrier in the bush just makes so much sense.

Gonna use a screenshot because Twitter is engaged in shenanigans.

There's a "Three Stooges"* movie where they're using a Renault F-1 to plow a field. I guess it would work.

*Think Benny Hill without the funny.

I think it is some variation or modification of a LCVP.

Truck looks like an early fifties Autocar U series.

    Another Diamond T

I think it's a 981 soft top converted with a home made hard top. There is something else that looks interesting on the extreme right. Military tracks, maybe? Looks about the right size for a Weasel.

    Small Dozer at right?

There is something odd about that truck.
Seems overlarge, even for a T.
    Books tonight...
