Presumed died of wounds Sidi Barrani - why Brookwood Memorial?

    I don`t have access to the USA site Fold3 but have been reliably informed that there is a comment added on their `Roll of circulated missing men` file which reads;-

    "6084366 Serjeant Ernest Edward Wray, 2nd The Queens Royal Regiment (West Surrey) was believed captured and lost at sea aboard an italian vessel which was evacuating wounded to the italian mainland"

    Lets wait and see what Charlie discovers with his CWGC contact but if the above is correct he is commemorated on the right memorial ?

    I agree that DOW category and memorial might both fit if he'd been buried at sea, rather than it being a straightforward case of crash or sinking....for me, "presumed DOW" needs verification / accommodation.
