    Took off from Seighford for circuit and landings. At approximately 0940 hrs, Master II W9073 from No.5 (Pilots) Advanced Flying Unit at Ternhill emerged from the cloud base, estimated ay 800 feet and collided with the Wellington. Both aircraft fell in the vicinity of Derrington Farm and Vicarage Farm near the airfield.
