    105 Sqdn were flying Blenheims out of Swanton Morley, Norfolk, at this time, mostly against port targets - they were part of 2 Group. They'd just won their first VC for a raid on Bremen docks on the 4th July 1941 (Wing Cmdr Edwards VC, the Australian squadron commander).

    On 19 July 1941, Sgt Taylor was killed when his Blenheim IV, V6039 Q-Queenie, crashed off the Dutch coast at 1122 while on an anti-shipping operation.
