Open finding into a triple-death road smash near Northam on January 23 was returned by the Coroner at Northam Courthouse today. Nine witnesses gave evidence on Wednesday. The Coroner then reserved his finding until today. He found that Mrs Elizabeth Maude Singe and Mrs Thelma Doreen Harris of Fourth Avenue, Mt Lawley, and Sapper C. R. Lathwell of Mt. Hawthorn, met their deaths when a motor car, driven by Sapper Lathwell, and a motor truck driven by Hysen Hassen, market gardener, of Northam, collided about nine miles from Northam.
