We went up to Bath as our eldest son is at Uni there. The War Memorial is on a corner, it felt a bit cramped. It was very warm & quite a few Cadets needed to sit down before they fainted.
My sister took this one of the Cenotaph in Swindon. Her oldest Grandson was doing his first Parade with the Cubs.
Brilliant atmosphere at the Cenotaph today. After the main march, including the Royal salute from Prince Edward, the Chindit contingent met at our own memorial for a short service and then retired to New Scotland Yard for some lunch. A lovely and unseasonably warm day.
