Royal Artillery Northern Ireland

    My main interest is Royal Artillery being an Ex TA Gunner. And the regiments connected to Northern Ireland Espically 8 & 9 HAA and 3 SL. But Am also interested in Coastal and AA sites in NI and the othere units formed there.

    Great info there rifleman
    My grandfather was WOII, RA, at Orangefield - he joined up again in Oct 39, after having served with IG in WW1. Served at home in Belfast - including during Blitz - but according to my father was deemed 'too old to go abroad with his battery'. Have yet to apply for his RA records or research him further.
