    This picture could say quite a lot about your fathers service. Post War Service in 1st Indian Divisional Signals for example.

    View from Piazza Italia up the Corso Sicilia
    The harbour is in the back of the photographer (not on the photo)
    The buillding still exists until to day.

    The place is called "Green Square" today and the avenue is the "Shara Omar el-Mukhtar" now.

    Hi Alan as promised I checked for you.

    There was approximately 116 Signals units serving in North Africa and Italy throughout the war. I would suspect this to be nearer 150/200+. They range from Army Signals down to Signal Squadrons in my book but I suspect there are quite a few Groups and Troops not listed.
