Looking for some help resolving an issue with the RTAF order of battle. Found an OOB for 1 Dec 41 in Edward Young's Aerial Nationalism. Two Foong Bin (squadrons) are listed twice: 1. Foong Bin 33 with both Kong Bin Yai Phasom Phak Klang (Central Region Combined Group) at Don Muang, and Kong Bin Noi Phasom Phak Tai (Southern Region Combined Wing) at Prachuap Khiri Khan. 2. Foong Bin 42 with both Kong Bin Yai Phasom Phak Nua (Northern Region Combined Group) at Khok Katiam, and Kong Bin Noi Phasom Phak Tai (Southern Region Combined Wing) at Prachuap Khiri Khan. In addition two active squadrons (Foong Bin 31 and Foong Bin 53) are not listed. So, it's possible that it's simply a typographica error. The source for Edward's information is Prawat Kong Akai Thai Nai Songgkhram Maha Asia Borapha (History of the RTAF during the Greater East Asian War) which is in Thai, and according to World Cat isn't held by any Library outside Thailand.. If any has access to this book, or has any other information that can resolve the duplication, it would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
