Seens a red beret with green cloth sewon circle on the front with an Ulster Rifles airborne metal style badge within the cloth circle....does this seem right or made up....what puzzled me was the fact that the beret had a plastic diamond inside...the sort that could hold size measurements makers name and the like
  2. They were Airborne in WW2,but it does sound a bit "Modern"Go with the Gut feeling, rather than the Head! o_O

The palstic diamond means that it is post war.

Cheers folks...the plastic bit did set the alarm bells a ringing....seller did the usual 'went out to an old womans house who was selling a relatives possessions' type of line!

    as always buyer beware!
