Runcorn War Dead information wanted.

Im doing some research on the WW2 names for Runcorn War Memorial in Cheshire. Have details on all but 12 casualties and wonder if any member of the Forum might be able to help me with any information on them the only details known are the names which are as follows.

W. Abram

C. Hardley

T. Harvey

H. Hopkins

W. Houghton

Yep... You and me both Izzy. The memorial in Runcorn is still on my 'to-do' list, it's less than a half hour drive from me. I've got the cwgc and Carl's Cam websites 'tabbed' as I type. It is a bit vague, the only clues being a probable town or county match on the loved ones listed.

I'm even closer to the memorial, it's less than ten minutes from where I live.

I'll get over there at the weekend and take some photos.

Phil thanks for the extra push on my research.The G.R.O information makes all the difference tying the casualty to the district.The AROH can be a bit misleading i have a Casualty called Arthur Harding who was born Liverpool athough the AROH states that he was born Manchester.
