Greeting fellow WW II enthusiasts. I've been on the sister site WW2f.com for years and wish had I found this website a few years earlier. The members here seem to be very knowledgeable about the British Commonwealth that war. Here in Estados Unidos (United States) books on the Commonwealth nations are not readily abundant and I've only one paltry shelf on various things (except RN and aeroplane/aviation). Contrast that to five shelves on Americans, three on Germans and a ittle over one on the Soviets. Even when I searched Amazon.co.uk, I didn't find that much material on the British Commonwealth (Oh to be able to visit some regimental museums again). Couldn't even find that much about our northern neighbor here, Canuckistan (with apologies to Canadians but we're all going soviet). I'm a member of The Company of Military Historians and the International Naval Research Organizations. Both are worth joining and the former if you're into the material culture and the latter if you like ships. So, I'm here to learn from everyone here. All the best!
Welcome, riter! I know that if you are interested in any particular Commonwealth nation people here will be able to fill you in on an abundance of interesting titles. e.g. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, etc.
