Recently. A respected Normandy dignitary came to my home to award me a bar to one of the medals.... With photographers and press.
I assume this is the same occasion Brian ?

    also.

In one case a dignitary came from France with his legion d'honneur sash and awarded me a medal and a bar at my home.
My family were in South Africa at the time, so we set up Skype so that they could watch the procedure from the Skype camera...

Hi Tom. All that way from Canada, and we had no camera batteries. I shall never live it down Mate. The Saintly one sends her love.. What none of you can see, is that I am standing with the help of elbow crutches. I cannot stand without them. Best regards to all.
