    Can anyone tell me which 53rd Div unit would have used the serial no 70 on its lorries.

    One of the Infantry Brigade RASC companies, see here.
    Infantry Division Vehicle Markings

    The senior Bde , in 53 Div was 71 Bde.

    In 53 Div history the RASC companies are
