Soldbuch ww2

    Do you have a photo of page 2 and 3 please? It looks like it is to a sailor who was involved in admin & supply. The Feldpost Number 01003 for 1940 is 3. Flottillen-Stamm-Abteilung but that Soldbuch is a Heer issue not Kriegsmarine and there are dates in it for 1940 and January 1941 but Kriegsmarine didn't start issuing Soldbücher until June 1941. Hopefully page 2 will shed more light.
    Other than that it looks ok.

    It looks like he was in the supply unit of Marine-Hafen-Abteilung Ostende which was set up in the summer of 1940 to provide admin support for the naval crews of the vessels that had been allocated for Operation Seelöwe.
    Considering the lack of entries after January 1941 I'd say he was re-issued with a Kriegsmarine Soldbuch and this one was handed in and not use anymore.
