Amberdog45, could I seek your help please? You posted a message on July 9, 2015 regarding Convoy OG74 and the sinking of the SS Rhineland. You said that you had received "the interpretation of the U Boat 201's report of the sinking of the SS Rhineland and the other 2 merchant ships sunk that day". I have tried contacting Uboat.net regarding the log book entry for the sinking of the SS Rhineland but have not received any acknowledgment of my message to them. Do you still have access to this log book entry please? Robert Carmichael Taylor, a second cousin, was a sailor on the SS Rhineland when she went down. I would be grateful for your help please. Thanking you in anticipation. KateB
Does anyone have a copy of the English translation of the German logbook entry regarding the sinking of the SS Rhineland on 21 September 1941 please? The original link provided does not work and only leads me to an error page. I would be very grateful for any help please? Kate
