Street Fighting Wing

Does anyone have information about this training unit operated by the Brigade of Guards under the auspices of the London District School of Tactics which undertook training in street fighting in Battersea from 1942?

 

i remember as a boy of 5 soldiers of the guards runnining in and out of the
bombed houses near maysoule road battersea shooting blanks.i think about 1942/43. i wish i had a camera at that time/

 

i remember my grandfather having pictures of when he was street training in battersea.
