I've seen worse mothers, congratulations to both! Oh it wasn't because of my mom, I was hesitating because I am paranoid :p
Oh, a little paranoia never harmed anyone, only the people who are after you But it's a very very nice photo. The doll, the sprues, the Humbrol tins, your mommy holding the paintbrush, you in your bib sticking you finger in your mout. A magic moment indeed. I'd take very good care of this photo if it were me! I trust you were not tasting the paint!
I don't do modelling either .....just pitying looks when I suggest investigating some pillbox/airfield I spy when we're driving down some country road.
I don't know how anyone finds the time! Someday, I might do the models but it will depend on whether I can manipulate the small bits. I've got a couple of military WWII drawings and paintings on the go now. My spouse is relatively forebearing on the time I spend on the Forum, and is fairly tolerant about me talking about messages or conversations with all the guys I've been getting to know here and at WW2F. Mostly I think he's relieved I'm not making him look at everything I discover or read on WWII! Fortunately, he is open to going to the museums and military locations when we have the opportunity, or like last week, supporting my visit to Vancouver for the reunion of Dad's WWII battery. A little less tolerant of money spent on military books and my other collections, so expect I won't see support in militaria collecting. He'd probably support modeling, as long as it didn't interfere with NHL games or playoffs, and I take my turn cooking supper.....
I catch enough "Flak" just for being on the Forum ... I use a five letter word to create space ... B-I-N-G-O! The best female distraction device I've found thus far.
