T251824C Believe Churchill Crocodile.

Hi All,

I have a tank number that I was trying to find some info on and wondered if anyone has come across it? I’ve head a search and haven’t come across anything so far.

I believe it’s a Churchill Crocodile that was with RAC 107th The Kings Own.

Also have a couple of other numbers T330461 and T335191 which we understand to be a Comet Tank.

I don't have any of these numbers in my database but I think T330461 could be a M24 Chaffee, the other is a Comet.
What is your interest in these particular numbers? Do you have photos relating to them?

T251920 is ASCOT A Sqn 107 RAC

If it is relevant, the adjacent number, T251825, was a 'Infantry A22. Mk IV Churchill MK VII' of 9 Trp 2nd Sqn, 4th Bn, Grenadier Guards, 6th Guards Armoured Brigade, named Halifax.

Given that I've put in the suffix 'C', I must have a photo somewhere so I'll hunt it up! I probably put in the wrong number. I'll blame bad eye-sight! cheers

Thanks for the replies. Doing some more digging it’s looking like T251824C will be a standard Churchill rather than a Crocodile.

Will carry on digging to see what else I can find out and pop an update up.
