    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place, but...

Bovington has opened their new WW2 hall and have released a video of David Willey walking through with Richard Cutland from World of Tanks.

Reportedly they have as many tanks in the hall as before, but they've added more material related to the tankies and are apparently trying to highlight battles somewhat less well known to the general public such as Arras and Op Compass. They're also grouped to reflect battles in which the vehicles were used etc. The start has a Matilda I (start of the war) and Comet (end). The Battle of Arras has a French tank (I'm a bit hopeless on their tanks I'm afraid - Somua S35 maybe?) and another Matilda I (really!?). The Matilda II is in the Op Compass display, and so on.

I have my fingers crossed that they may have actually succeeded in adding more history to that hall.

    Video for anyone curious:

PS you have to skip about 5 minutes in for the introduction, then Ken Tout says a bit, and then the walk through starts.

Good to see Walcheren getting a mention. What happened to the Tiger I, or did I miss it?

It might still be in a separate Tiger room.

Tiger 131 is in the Tank Story Hall. Usually parked at the back near the exit doors so they can get it out easily for events.
