had a basinful of "Blue Unction" when I got back to Austria after bringing a convoy of Amoured cars back from Italy - we had to stop for the night at Udine before crossing into Austria - where members of the 8th Indian division fed and watered us - next morning up bright and breezy - over the border and discovered that many of us were scratching furiously - back into our own lines and reporting sick - I was lucky as the RAP ran out of the blue stuff and many were in agony and I was clear in no time .....it was NOT nice
    Cheers

Hi Tom Mate, hope you are well?

I joined Number ONE training battalion Royal Engineers at Clithero in Lancashire, This was an old mill with the river Ribble running alongside.

Not long after I joined everyone went down with crabs......... Bloody awful itch...

Shaved the nether regions and slapped on blue unction....... I recall tackling the assault course hot and sweaty with the itch of crabs., YUK What we had to do to defend our Country!
