I have just had no problem either. When this sort of thing has happened to me, I have often found it clears if you delete cookies from your machine. If your browser is Explorer, you will find the means under Tools/Internet Options/General. I think that sometimes you pick up a "bad" cookie which blocks you out of some sites and this seems to solve it.
Thanks for the help guys, but, sadly, it's still missing. Perhaps better luck tomorrow?! Regards, David

Continued joy! Logged in with no problems this evening. Glad this thread brought Gerry to the fold! Thanks for all advice. Regards, David
I've just noticed this as well. Hope nothing terminal is wrong, would be a disaster for many of us. I expect Chris Baker is being deluged with emails so I'll leave it a few days before adding to them. I'm sure he's trying to sort it out. In the meantime, does anyone else have any inside info? Adrian
I haven't got any inside info. But I get the suspend account message. </div><div class='quotemain'>This Account Has Been Suspended Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.[/b]
Thanx Lee for using this forum to receive a better picture: I am in contact with other pals: they all have the same indication loke you/we/I. I already thought they barred me because of the Tyne Cot thread which boiled hot; so lets all wait and see what happened; this incident clearly shows us that we need kind of back up information solution in case of repeated outage; again thanx for using this means of communication egbert
I dont think it will be anything serious, I am sure its a mistake or an oversight, Chris will fix things.
I get the same message. I got into it OK yesterday afternoon, so whatever happened was between about 4.00pm and the time Lee posted here. The site was running very slow at times last week and there was an active thread about this yesterday. If there is a technical glitch at the server, perhaps they have suspended the account while it is fixed. I am sure it is nothing to do with the Tyne Cot thread (which incidentally I missed seeing before the mods pulled it), but on the thread discussing the offending thread (if you get what I mean) one of the mods commented that Chris Baker was away and I personally do not know when he is set to return.
Nearly midday GMT and the GWF is still suspended; no info on the parent site (Long, Long Trail). Hopefully Angie's guess is right, that this is related to the server problems - very slow responses - and someone is now working on putting it right. Or do I have to get a life? Jim
It went down about 21.00 UK time last night while some of us were in the chat room. There is talk it could be a 'hack' but as nothing has been posted on the site (yet) they may not be right. It simply looks - to me - as if someone forgot to put some coins in the meter!
