    Cause of Death: Died as a result of a Motor Cycle accident. The war diary shows that were in the process of starting a motor cycle & side car platoon and training in the Tetbury area of Gloucestershire. (A Sergeant R Guttridge died on the same date, but no details to confirm whether he was also involved).
