I’ve just seen your post from 12 years ago. I believe I might be your mother’s cousin. Dennis Baylis (with only 1 ‘s’) was my Uncle. He had 3 brothers and a sister, and I am one of his brother’s daughter (Terry’s daughter). They came from Bristol. Does this sound right?

We discourage the open display of email addresses as "bad things" can happen as others trawl public sites for addresses.

Jazon would only get an email alert IF he added a "flag" or "watch" to the thread. You could do so, just in case another member adds a post.

I have had a good response rate to a PM alert that a thread has been updated, but almost no responses after 5 years.

If you hover over the name of the member in their avatar it will show a new text box and within is the date of their last logged visit. Plus other options, e.g. other posts.
