They were sitting ducks with their bulky Lichtenstein radar against swarms of P-51s and Thunderbolts whose pilots were eager to pounce.

The fecker unknown (probably AI) that had (for me) the site unavailable for best part of 24 hours.

Did the usual at this end, "take out the cookies and the cache, or you don't get no WW2Talk bash" (spat out to the tune of The Coasters "Yakety-yak"), but it made no difference; still no access till this evening for me Rich (I thought I'd been black-balled again, like a whack in the slabs when playing rugby in the 20th century )

It appears that at least now normal service has been resumed thank goodness.
