I haven't been black-balled since I double-looped a Yamaha trials bike after getting stuck in tractor rut on The Ridgeway. Gordon Bennett. That was a bruise !

I've had a few tank-slappers of the anatomical kind in my time Rich.

And as you catch your breath and slide slowly back to the seat in which you now, for some reason, find no comfort :)

Kind regards, too heavy on the brakes again - and still t-boned! Always,

    Jim.

Been laying 800m+ of underfloor heating pipe and boards all week while freezing my tits off and whistling Belle & Sebastian..
Broken, distracted, and didn't message Otto.
He did sort it quite quickly when I just remembered in the pub.

Some people's houses are very large.

    I hate this thing, and the stuff that's on it...;
It also sort of makes me smile.

Ridge tiles falling where your head was half a second before are kind of funny.
Also bundled in with the old intimations of mortality.
I wonder where my hard hat is.

    The builder's definitely avoiding us.

    Anyway...

Trials bikes hardly have brakes. I still recall though that feeling of looping the loop, hitting the ground, looking up and thinking "I'm still alive"...and then the bloody bike landed on of me. Fair took my breath away.

Underfloor heating a bonus for oldies who trip and fall on the warm floor. No chance of hyperthermia whilst awaiting rescue although the chance of being par boiled is on the cards.

  8. Yep, this one is the one I know, not Adam's.
We would rent a TV only once every four years for the Olympics, and I watched everything and anything while it lasted. My excuse is that I was about the same age as Sébastien then. :D

I just learned from my disabled brother in reference to the above that to lie on the floor too long without being able to get up at all, which has happened to him several times, can be dangerous. It can lead to the back filling of the kidneys with urine that can damage them. Those who are not disabled don't have the same problems as they can get up and go to the toilet. After four hours waiting for an ambulance crew to get him up off the floor once, they eventually sent the fire brigade. Any contrary medical opinion welcomed.

Apologies for the apparent image upload issue today.
Otto fixed (hopefully) as soon as I was made aware.
    Plans afoot to sort properly.

The wheels grind slow, but signs of some rust flaking off...

Thanks Adam. For the second time in a couple of weeks, I was the last to post before the wheels ground to a halt!!! I was beginning to think it might be me. :)
