Having spent years checking the address to see if Kevin Wheatcroft's astonishing collection's website has gone live, it finally has:
    http://www.wheatcroftcollection.com/home.html
3 panthers, 3 Hetzers, Flakpanzer 38, etc. etc. etc. and loads more. Fascinating to finally see what they have, and it's even more than I'd suspected.
Also they've now gone public and confirmed the strong rumour that there are chunks of Kingtiger slated for the long process of full restoration.

    I'm happy now.
    Cheers,
    Adam.

Bit of an fiddley site to navigate around I think.
Did like the Tiger transmission page though.

Mate, If it needed a team of experienced sherpas. a dozen pack mules and a map clutched from the dying hand of an Inca king I'd still be chuffed. ;)

This, along with the SdKfz foundation, Bovington, Cadman etc. are marking this country out as the centre for ww2 vehicle restoration, which means we're rather likely to see 'em rumbling around at some show or other.
    Woohoo!!
    :D :D

Damn! Some of us don't even know where to put their kits and this guy has warehouses of the full size stuff! It's unjust!

Know what you mean Za, I knew he had lots of stuff but had no idea just how much. 4 88's, the Tempo and another Famo has surprised me the most. As it's just down the road from me I'm going to start hanging around their bins in case they accidentally throw out one of the four Kettenkrads. ;)
The picture of the SdKfz.11 appears to have a panzer 2(f?) parked next to it. Presumably one of the restorations he's carrying out for Aberdeen. Sadly no glimpses of the Tiger I believe is still currently stored there awaiting return to America.

That would be some postage, I hope it's not coming by UPS or it will cost a fortune!

There was talk that the large American transport plane that crashed recently (christmas-ish??) was destined to take the Tiger home.

Hi-res galleries have been updated, there's a V1 launch ramp in his yard & some good shots of a Stug & the Trippel. Most interestingly perhaps his incrediblly rare Terrapin is showing signs of restoration.
Get the feeling there's going to be some treats at Beltring this year... Maybe even the Panther.

 Some new arrivals for June:

Bulldozer Very complete looking Sherman comp Dozer.

Archer Blimey! Again, it looks in rather good nick considering it's age, appears to be in Egyptian Livery.

Pzkpfj Just another Mark IV to add to the list...

Guessing here but I'd say these came from Israel?
The news page also mentions concrete turrets, I wonder if these are Winsdor turrets, and if so, what for? Or something else.

(they seem to have completed a 'Drilling' too, hope that comes to Beltring.)

Rookie question before I visit this site. Do any King Tigers survive complete?

Thought I'd better pop back here before I got too carried away at the Wheatcroft collection. Wow! Better than new restorations, these guys are amazing!

What in the Wheatcroft Collection or Worldwide?
    Do you mean runners?

There are 8 surviving and reasonably intact Tiger II's (2 now at Bovington with one back from Shrivenham & a unique Porsche turret survival), the one at Saumur is a runner, one in Switzerland is being restored to runnning condition & Wheatcroft's will make it 9, three more than there are Tiger I's.
    There's also 3 Jagdtiger's still around.

    Surviving Panzers

    Cheers,
    Adam.
