I recently came across this academic paper by Godfrey Tang: https://prism.ucalgary.ca/bitstream/handle/1880/25336/38550Tang.pdf?sequence=1 which Members may find of interest. The Future Operations (Enemy) Section is at page 38 (or 48of169) followed by an offering on the Axis Planning Section, its successor. Has anyone ever come across the names of Section members? I can imagine that Col EJ Shearer - picked by Wavell as his Intelligence Officer (when Comdt of the Intelligence School) may have been involved somehow at some time, because 'Thinking Axis' was one of his techniques.
