Some of the ATB books have not been WW2 related - Bonnie and Clyde being one which I must admit I would find very tempting to but , but being a tight so and so am just keeping an eye on eBay :).
Epping Forst has been another subject published by them.

Ah so it is out , look forward to it but it is very steep , mind you when they were asking £40 for the "B of B" edition I saw that as being ahuge price for a book - not something I could buy every day of the week. , could not afford to plain and simple as that !

The vice of buying books is one we should all aspire too!

I think we are all in this same boat Andy.

I know exactly what you mean mate :D
Your comment made me check my "inventory", for want of a better word, and in 2007 I bought 180 books, in 2008 91 and so far this year I'm up to 17 (and it's only March!!o_O) To make matters worse they're all about the same subject ;).

Despite my interest in all things WWII I had never heard of ATB until I joined this website recently. At first I thought that paying around £40 for a book was a bit excessive but after umming and arghing for a bit I took the plunge and bought Operation Market Garden Vol.1. Well I'm about half way through it at the moment and have to say ATB have produced a stunning piece of work.

So now of course I have Operation Market Garden Vol.2 on my shopping list along with D-Day Vol.1 & 2 and Ruckmarsh. You lot have a lot to answer. :D

I won an ATB magazine on ebay about Dover's rail guns really good and all for the pricely sum of £2.13...plus p&p 1........well chuffed the only one I have.........so far

I think the Falklands book they have done is a stunning book and excellent value for money considering its size 608 pages plus the vast amount of photos's and diagrams etc.......

Look at it this way 1600 photos £47 = 34p each plus you get all that writing for free;)

If you want a book that really takes the biscuit I bought this about 5 years ago for about £60 its so small in size the fonts are so minuscule you can hardly read them and the picture quality is awful......

"The Old Testament According to Spike Milligan." (By "Spike")
God asked "Who stole my apple"
Eve replied " Don't blame me , I only just got here". ;)

( There was another line in which Adam on meeting Eve for the first time said "Stand back , I don't know how big this is going to get !!"

ATB does have that addictive quality to which we are all potential victims. :)
