Trouble connecting to the site

I still have problems accessing both WW2t and WW2f but not at all times. This morning straight in no problems. Last night it was a matter of luck.
I have not yet had Idler's problem of just reaching the front page.

 

I still receive this error. Not as much as it used to, but sometimes I can't connect to the site, even after refreshing the page up to 10 times or more.

Perhaps the server was out looking for the Perseides shower.

 

Was the server down this afternoon? I could not get on, but I see this evening posts were made at that time. I tried ping and traceroute - both were dead. All other connexions seemed fine.

Could it have something to do with that bl--dy thing on the left flying around and zapping all the power.

It happens same time every morning. The website carries out routine housekeeping, so you can't access it for a short while. VP advised this previously on the Outage - Apologies thread.

 

I have tried to join WW2F already a couple of times, but so far I am not a full member.
Twice I clicked on Resend Validation, but never received that mail.
Am I doing somethin wrong?

"WW2 Talk site is taking too long to answer".
Get in quick when I do manage to connect.
Browsing the list of New Posts has become impossible.
"Last Song you Listen to tread" seems to hold the key to the door.
Been having these problems since Saturday.
Don't think I'm the only one.
Tried MS Edge and Google browsers.
Cleared Memory Cache etc.
Thought I'd check if its my computer or a general connection fault.

 

Same here. Site takes an age to load, probably last 36 hours or so. It was like this for me a few weeks back.

 

Looks like it pays to have the occasional moan!

Got in on the next try.

Now, what was I going to do?

Ah, yes, check the New Posts to see if there are any new ones of interest or responses to things I was doing over the last few days.

INTERMITTENT access took a while to "Like" post by Bamboo43

Will go away & try again later... if I can log out!

 

Been trying all morning but hey back online now.

Gained access for a few minutes to answer a conversation then lost it.
Got back for this but now dinner is served.
Think I will try later tonight before going to bed.
