    I've taken a few photos of graves of Commandos and will endeavour to photograph some of the Tyneside ones. The Seaton Hirst one is just along the road, on my way to and from work - I'll call in there asap.

    Just noticed the Cambois one - I'll do that one too.

    I will try and get a few photos of the headstone etc for you, if we happen to be in the area in the next couple of months. Can't promise as it's not me who drives :), so if someone else lives/works closer they might be a better bet.

    Had a bit of an adventure with the first one - not actually in Cambois - but the priest was on hand to direct me to the second one. Rather moving as a grave I'm going to visit in Walcheren in a couple of weeks belongs to a No.4 whose parent regiment was the DLI.

    I am wondering if any of you guys who maybe doing Newcastle if I could ask a favour please.
    I have an headstone in Lemington Cemetery Northumberland that I would be grateful if you can assist please.

    ​Photo of William now received thanks to Bill Dalton of Northumberland bereavement services.
    I only emailed him to ask for a map of the cemetery and to point out where his headstone is and he sent me a photo, Top Bloke.

    Havnt been on for a while and just noticed your request for tyneside/northumberland pics


    i have 4 of them and can get the wallsend one if still need it as this area is local to me
