Throughout the war there were army units based in the WhyteleafeKenley area of Surrey and billetted in those houses and 2 schools which had been vacacated for the duration due to their proximity to RAF Kenley.
3 of these were a Bn of Seaforth Highlanders 1942-3, a Bn of KOYLIs 1943 and a regiment of Artillery with 3.7ins guns 1943-4 and who departed on or around D-day.
    I want to do some.
research on the subsequent movements of these but firstly need to know their correct designations (I was only a wee lad at the time!).
Any ideas how I may obtain these>
