This is something I obtained recently. To my knowledge it’s never been opened. The seal is unbroken and I can tell just by looking at it that it’s not been opened. I’ve been contemplating whether I should open it or not.
With a little squinting through the window you can hopefully read enough of the senders details to do some research on them, I have lots of the British version of these and to be honest most are very mundane and the interest is in the sender rather than the content so it can remain sealed but have an individuals story.
Ancestry has a family tree with an Ernest Allen Wilkie 21/5/17 to 29/10/97 who in 1940 lived on Carpenter Street Seekonk (which borders Attleboro and may overlap for addresses) - so wonder if its from him to his dad who was also Ernest. My subscription doesn't give me access to the various censuses and draft cards etc to see if its the same family but hopefully someone can help check
