Good afternoon I am researching a ships wheel which I think comes from a Vosper MTB not confirmed. It is of Aluminium construction covered in a plastic membrane it also has a King Spoke. I have emailed the MTB 102 chair and it was inconclusive whether this was the Wheelhouse wheel. Please if you have any thought on this piece.
This is the only photos (so far) that I could see a wheelhouse wheel……the first photo is only a partial, but it seems very similar to your photo? Thank you for your reply - yes I have had an email conversation with Richard on this item, it's not quite the same as the one in the wheelhouse the membrane material is different. I know that ship/boat building wasn't on a production line basis, I am interested though in getting as close to the answer as I can.
