    Unit saw performance of Tunisian Victory at Corona Cinema.

    First Party i.e. HQ, C, D, Wksps pls moved to M.A. at 0400 hrs. After ship Nos were chalked on vehs at TC point in S area vehs were parked and attended by drivers and small maintenance party. 67 all ranks were billeted at AB Camp; 94 all ranks at CD Camp.

    Coy. H.Q. and Wksps moved to BELLINGEN, near HAL, at 070600B.
    10 x 3-ton vehs detached by 2nd Army located, and taken to GLISSY. There was no work at GLISSY, vehs to join detachment at VITREY. 10 x 3-ton proceeded to VITREY, and joined 31 x 3-ton vehs clearing airbourne [sic] stores.

    10 x 6-ton vehs despatched 082000B to 4 Army Roadhead, to move 121 and 46 Field Bakeries to No.6 ARH.

    33 x 3-ton vehs left location 2359 hrs to load PET and AMN at 4 ARH, loads delivered to 6 ARH. Vehs returned 18/19.9.44.
    31 x 3-ton vehs left location 2359 hrs to load PET at MARBOEUF. Convoy travelled all night and loaded and left MARBOEUF at 171700B. Approx mileage 460. Detail carried out in 41 hrs.

No precise destination given & convoy comdr had to find which of the three airfields needed the containers. No petrol had been flown into LILLE so detail returned empty at 181940A.

    18 September 1944
    30 x 6-ton vehs loaded containers at Shell Depot, Brussels 181020A. Arrived LILLE Airfield 181430A and unloaded containers. No petrol available, detail left 181700A and parked for night at BEPAUME. Left BEPAUME 190600A arrived CORBE 190700A. No pet available. After recce 3 PET installations contacted. Vehicles began loading 191000A and completed loading by 191550A. No labour was available and tins had to be filled. Detail reported to 6 ARH 200550A. Retd location 201145A.
    29 x 3-ton vehs reported to 6 ARH. AMN R.C. at 0900 hrs.
    10 x 3-ton vehs left location 182330A to load AMN at 6 ARH for delivery to 55 FMC. On arrival at 6 ARH Convoy Comdr informed AMN already loaded on another convoy. Detail retd empty. 190900 hrs.

    19 September 1944
    25 x 6-ton, 16 x 3-ton vehs left location for AMN R.C., 6 ARH to convoy Pioneers & det. Ord Maint Coy, and 25 pdr to HAECHT. Detail to continue ferrying Amn from Railway Stn to dumps. 3-ton vehs were replaced by 6-ton vehs as they became available – all replaced by 20.9.44.
    Tonnage unloaded 20 – 437; 21 – 933; 22 – 605; 23 – 929; 24 – 695; 26 – 160.
    On 25.9.44 6 tons Amn collected from 6 ARH, 60 tons collected from NAMUR.
    5 x 6-ton vehs left location 0500 hrs daily to collect labour from LOUVAIN. Details finished daily at 2200 hrs.

    22 x 6-ton vehs left location 1800 hrs to report to Shell Installations Brussels to load PET Containers and deliver to VENDEVILLE Airfield Nr. LILLE. Detail loaded PET at Airfield and delivered to 6 ARH. Retd location 231230A.
    11 x 3-ton vehs reported to 2 Army Rear to assist in move. Detail retd 222130A.

    23 September 1944
    10 x 5 ton vehs left location 1100 hrs for 174 Wksps and Pk Coy VERMELLES (Nr. ARRAS) to convey Bridging Stores to B. LEOPOLD. Detail to report by 240800A:detailed reported 240730A. OIC RASC Vehs at Bridging Dump instructed convoy comdr to report to 21 Tpt Coln for further orders. These orders proved to be to report to 44 Tpt Coln at a Map Ref for a further detail. The map ref proved to be locn of 22 Tpt Coln who returned vehs to location.
    Unit moved to new location WACKERZEEL and came under comd 22 Tpt Coln.
    1 x 3-ton veh commenced daily detail by reporting to Hotel Grand Bretagne, Brussels to collect “Escapes and Evaders” for conveyance to RH at CORBIE Nr. AMIENS.
    10 x 3-ton vehs collected MT80 from 139 Pet Depot for delivery to 83 Gp A.F.A.S. and carried empty jerricans on return journey.

    24 September 1944
    66 x 3-ton vehs reported 20 Tpt Coln at EVERE Airfield 240800A for Airfreight duties. Vehs loaded with PET and delivered to 140 Pet Depot.
    1 x 3-ton veh reported to M Mess 2 Army Rear. Veh returned same day – not required.
