I am looking for the war diaries and other relevant info for the 86th Hertfordshire Yeomanry Field Regt when in Veghel area in September 1944. I am in touch with the Daughter of a Sexton driver who was with this regiment with 342 Battery, C troop. Any info about this unit and or photos more than welcome. Cheers, Adrian
Hi Adrian, The September 1944 period is covered over several pages in "The Hertfordshire Yeomanry Regiments, Royal Artillery, Part 1: The Field Regiments 1920-1946" by J.D. Sainsbury. It was published in 1999 by Hart Books for the Hertfordshire Yeomanry and Artillery Trust. Rothy
