What do you want / did you get for Christmas?

My daughters boyfriend knows my passion for anything war related and heavy metal music bought me a good combination.

 

Ha! I’ve got one of these. Identical. It’s a brute. Had it years. Only used it a few times but priceless each time.

 

We have all sorts of things but decided some might not appreciate them.
(Billy Connolly made a career out of them).

On a poignant note, I lost my mum in December last year and she always, always got me a box of my fave Lindor choccies for Christmas. My partner’s son hasn’t forgotten that and got me this “small” selection:

Still waiting for the very necessary 4 quid-everything e-sale from Pen & Sword. Internet Archive becoming friendlier is just not enough for us compulsive-obsessive WW2 buffs

Nothing related to the war! We don't give many gifts, so the highlight is "Baking Yesterday", a delightful cookbook.
