Been trying to locate this work camp for years believe it's in a place that used to exist called Afffenberg near to Graz in Austria it was where work camp 109/L was anybody have any new ideas how to find it?
Yes this is my Grandfather Albert Ernest Hook over the last few years I have traced his journey from joining up right up to realise I have photo war diaries convoy diaries etc even been on a weekend to stalag 18A just the location of the work camp is all I'm missing!
Good luck, I hope someone can help out. Have you seen if he did a liberation questionaire? It might have location mentioned on that. Or another member of 109/L may have mentioned it.
