Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone can help with any information or sources or maps with regards to bombings around 1939/40/41 in the Ellesmere Port/wirral area? My house was bombed around 1940 and rebuilt around 1946 and I would like more information regarding this, I have been to the local library but only seem to be able to get access to some information, if anyone knows any useful websites of bombing maps or old images that could help please let me know, thanks.
NCAP has quite a lot, but not all of them are digitalized. At national archives you can find some from Ellesmere port. Maybe you are lucky and your house is on one of them. See the link here,
