It took some time to finish but finished it is. It's the Albion CX24S Tank Transporter with a Higgins boat (LCVP) load as photographed at Nijmegen, Holland in March 1945 enroute to Reichswald Germany in preparation for Operation Plunder. The kits are both well cast Milicast kits although the ramp on the LCVP was missing and I had to scratch one. I also scratch-built the cradle. The figures are also modified Milicast and represent an Officer and Rating of the RN along with an un-modified driver of the RASC. Dick Harley was his usual helpful self in assisting in identifying the unit involved and the through the process of elimination, It came down to the 372nd Tank Transporter Coy of the 21st Army Group and the AoS number was 873. Dick also came up with some good photos of the cradle showing the steel extension which was used to push the cradle/boat into the water using a dozer. Assistance was also received from Mike Starmer re colours and Pete Marshall with decals. As usual, my profound thanks go to Dick, Mike and Pete. Cheers, Neil
