1st Dorsetshire Regiment - D-DAY+1 to Holland

Hi all,

I would like to know more about the 1st Dorsets experience from D-DAY+1 through to Holland in October 1944. I am particularly interested in the actions they fought in Normandy and their involvement in Market Garden. Unfortunately their War Diary doesn't seem to have been uploaded on to Ancestry just yet.

If anyone has any information I'd love to hear.

It does not seem to be available as an e-book.

There is a transcribed extract here, from a file at the archives, covering D-Day in Normandy to June 13 or so.

It is available at Amazon as paperback. There are several hardcover copies, among which a 1st edition, for sale on Abebooks as well.
