My great granddad served in this regiment in WW1 and I have found the museum - http://www.thewardrobe.org.uk - great. Check that website out. It seems very good to me. I'd say you are possibly lucky your grandfather served with this regiment, as many regiments don't have such good history teams interested in them.
Thank's Allondon I return to that site regularly and agree with you the regiment have a great history. Thanks again
I assume you've been here. http://www.farmersboys.com/ make sure your speakers are on to listen to The Regimental March of the DERR. other Marches here.http://www.farmersboys.com/MAIN/regimental_music.htm
I have constructed a website dedicated to the 2nd Battalion The Royal Berkshire Regiment, with all I have collected and what has been donated, address below. I do have some more information to add which I am working on at the moment. I hope it is of help to fellow researchers. Burma WW2 http://www.2ndbattalionroyalberkshirereg.co.uk/
