Digging around for Ron's 'Hunts Gap' query I pottered onto this nice little site full of good information on 46th Division, RASC & Operation Avalanche (Salerno). One of Many Good maps too. Cheers, Adam.
Anyone know what ever became of the "One Of Many" link above? Looks like it is dead. Would be interested to read the story, esp the parts concerning Hunt's Gap. The 8th Argylls were part of the 46th division for a brief period in Feb/Mar 1943 (from Feb 27 to Mar 24) which included Hunt's Gap. If anyone can point me to the document or has any details let me know.
