I am wants to find out more about my fathers unit and its activities. From the little I know, his unit was involved with the Mulberry harbour, also some bridge demolition in northern France. He was also in North Africa and I think Italy as well. As he has campaign medals for these theatres. After my father died, I found some letters he had been writing to someone in the Dunkirk Veterans association. I tried to contact him at the time, but he wife mentioned her husband had died some months earlier. I came to this site having ready another post about an enquiry regarding 654 AW Coy Artisan company. My father was a joiner and builder by trade. He also was promoted to lance corporal.
