Has start working on a new publication about the 7th Hampshire Regiment and there period on the "Island". anyone who might have some information or have been in touch with any veterans who fought there, would be most welcome for contacting me, I have the WDs and been in touch with Veterans, but you never know. Ofcourse people who help me out with any new info, would be mentioned as source in the booklet
Have you got the pages from the Regimental history for this period? If not do you want me to scan them?

Hi Phillip I would be interested to know more about this, the Hampshires would have been my Country Regiment and a few of the Portsmouth men I have been researching fought with the 7th Battalion. Too late now but I'm not too far from the Regimental Museum and I'm planning to go there soon for some research.
